The LENOX LE-LXAH35 is a SPEED SLOT® carbide tipped hole saw, 127.0 mm (5 in) in diameter, with carbide teeth welded to the cutting edge for drilling wood, steel, stainless steel, cast iron and abrasive materials such as fiber cement and plaster — for plumbing and rough-in work.

High performance carbides are welded to the cutting edge for durability and to help prevent tooth loss. The SPEED SLOT® staircase design has multiple leverage points for fast, easy plug ejection, and the tall body drills through 2X dimensional lumber in one pass. The 127.0 mm (5 in) diameter fits a 2L Snap-Back™ arbor or 2L, 3L and 6L standard arbors, and is rated up to 50X life vs. a LENOX bi-metal hole saw cutting cast iron.
