The LENOX LE-LXAH3412 50X carbide tipped hole saw cuts 114.3 mm (4-1/2 in) holes and belongs to the LENOX Speed Slot carbide tipped hole saw range, for large-diameter holes in wood, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, fiber cement and plaster board.

High-performance carbides are welded to the cutting edge, and LENOX rates the line at up to 50X life against LENOX bi-metal hole saws, so the teeth resist wear and keep cutting efficiently. The body uses the Speed Slot staircase slot, which gives several leverage points so the plug ejects quickly. The 114.3 mm (4-1/2 in) saw body needs a separately sold arbor (Snap-Back 2L or 6L, or standard 2L, 3L, 6L, 7L) and runs on a drill in plumbing, metalwork and construction.
