The LENOX LE-1985494 is a LENOX METALMAX™ diamond cut-off wheel (Type 1, flat) measuring 180 mm in diameter, 1.6 mm thick with a 22.23 mm arbor hole. It fits 180 mm (7 in) angle grinders and cuts steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, rebar, cast iron, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals.

The wheel bonds diamond abrasive to a steel body, so the diamond edge does not wear away and the diameter — and therefore the depth of cut — stays the same for the life of the wheel. Because the abrasive does not shed, there is noticeably less dust and odour than with conventional thin bonded cut-off wheels. The 180 mm version ships with a 20 mm bushing for spindles of that size.
