The LENOX LE-1985493 METALMAX diamond cut-off wheel is a 150 mm (6 in) Type 1 wheel, 1.3 mm thick with a 22.23 mm arbor, for cutting steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, rebar, cast iron and non-ferrous metals on a standard angle grinder.

Instead of a bonded abrasive, the wheel uses a diamond cutting edge on a steel body. LENOX states that the diamond edge does not get smaller, so the cutting depth stays the same throughout its life, and the wheel runs on the same angle grinders, at the same RPM and feed force, as the bonded wheels it replaces — which suits maintenance, structural steel, pipe and profile cutting.
