The LENOX LE-1970538 is the 5L arbor (5/8-18 thread) for LENOX Standard diamond hole saws from 1-1/4 to 2-1/2 in (32-64 mm). It is supplied with a centering-pin pilot drill for drilling hard, delicate surfaces such as porcelain, ceramic, stone and glass.

The arbor has a solid hex shank, published by LENOX as 3/8 in and larger (9.5 mm and larger), so it fits common drill chucks. The carbide tipped pilot drill uses a centering pin designed to reduce walking; LENOX lists this item as an "Arbor with Retractable Pilot Drill". The set screw in the arbor body can be loosened with a hex key to replace the pilot drill; the LENOX replacement pilot drill is 1970540 (1/4 in / 6.4 mm) and fits the 5L 5/8-18 arbor.
