The LENOX LE-1779806 7L Standard Hole Saw Arbor is the arbor that connects a hole saw to the drill. It fits 24L-96L (1-1/2-6 in, approx. 38-152 mm) hole saws and is supplied with a split point pilot drill for drilling wood and metal.

The arbor body is hardened carbon steel with a 3/8 in hex shank that fits common drill chucks. Its split point pilot drill starts on contact for faster penetration and less walking. The hole saw screws onto the arbor thread, then the drive pins slide up and lock it in place; the long pins make it easier to eject the plug from the hole saw, and the pilot drill can be replaced with a hex key and set screw.
