The LENOX LE-1779670 is the 6L SNAP-BACK™ quick-change hole saw arbor (pilot drill), supplied with its pilot drill fitted. It has a 3/8 in (10 mm) hex shank and fits hole saws from 1-1/4 in to 6 in (32–152 mm) — LENOX sizes 20L–96L. The pilot drill has a 135° point.

The arbor drives the hole saw off pins rather than threads, so the hole saw threads cannot strip and the saw will not lock onto the arbor. A simple pull, twist and snap mounts or removes the hole saw with no tools and no adaptor — the standard arbor thread screws straight into the saw — and plug ejection is easier. It suits general hole saw cutting work.
