The CHESCO (Gongmaw Industrial) CH-T308A-8CJ automatic locking pliers measure 8 in / 220 mm and are made in Taiwan for welding set-up, metal fabrication, sheet-metal work, pipe assembly and workshop maintenance. The self-locking design needs no adjusting screw, so the jaws can be set and locked one-handed.

The jaws are hardened chrome vanadium steel for a strong bite, and the handle body is carbon steel with a nickel-plated finish. With 30 mm of jaw capacity, the locking mechanism self-adjusts to the workpiece instead of being tuned by hand — squeeze the handle to lock, pull the release lever to loosen, and move straight to the next workpiece of a different thickness without resetting the jaw opening. The 8 in body suits most hands and can be operated with one hand.
