The CHESCO CH-306ASI long-nose locking pliers (6 in / 150 mm, also known as 6LN) are a Taiwanese-made locking plier with a fine pointed jaw and a built-in wire cutter. They grip workpieces in confined spaces and can be used as a wrench to loosen or tighten bolts, hex screws and nuts, to remove stripped screws, to cut wire, or to clamp and twist parts together.
The jaw head and handles are forged from hardened chrome-molybdenum steel (CR-MO) for high durability and consistent grip. The surface is shot-blasted for a uniform finish and then nickel-plated to form a corrosion-resistant coating. A high-carbon steel spring withstands repeated loading while staying elastic: squeeze the handles to lock and press the release lever to unlock. The knurled pressure-adjusting knob can be turned even with gloves on to set jaw opening and clamping pressure. Maximum jaw capacity is 52 mm.
